- Lead counsel for the leasing, development and condominium structure of a 45-acre mixed-use shopping center development, including leasing space in the center to national retailers and restaurants.
- Lead counsel to a real estate development company in the acquisition, leasing and financing of approximately 20 freestanding drugstore projects in North Carolina and South Carolina. One South Carolina project involved the ground leasing of two adjacent parcels for the construction of a drugstore which is situated on the boundary line between the two parcels.

These projects involved the negotiation of development agreements and comprehensive documents containing easements, covenants and restrictions affecting the entire shopping center.
