General Biography
Peter is located in the Charleston office where his practice is focused on matters relating to wealth management, estate planning and administration and the taxation of estates and trusts.  Peter joined the firm after nearly thirty years of experience in the financial, wealth management and fiduciary areas of corporations operating principally in the southeast.  Most recently he was Executive Vice-President overseeing the Private Wealth Management line of business of SunTrust.  Peter is a former law clerk to the Estate and Gift Tax Division of the Internal Revenue Service and joined them after graduation from law school as an Estate and Gift Tax Attorney.  Prior to entering law school, he was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army serving as a Special Agent for Military Intelligence.
