Turner Padget recruits throughout the Southeast for law students who graduate at the top of their class. Many of our lawyers had the opportunity of clerking with the firm during summer breaks and on a part time basis during the school year. Our summer program provides the most common entry point for a career with Turner Padget and has proven to be an excellent program for both the firm and the law student.

The clerks are valuable members of our team and work on actual cases in a variety of practice areas under the direction of the handling attorney. Turner Padget’s summer program provides clerks the opportunity to:

• Showcase his/her knowledge and abilities
• Work on interesting and challenging assignments in diverse practice areas
• Receive timely and substantive feedback from supervising attorneys
• Participate in or observe trials, arbitrations, depositions, negotiations, closings, and client meetings
• Provide a realistic view of associate life at Turner Padget
• Interact closely with our attorneys and their families

Social Activities / Community Service

Throughout the summer we host a variety of social activities and community service programs to give our summer associates an opportunity to get to know the attorneys at the firm and the communities we serve.

Compensation

• 1L $1,100 per week

• 2L $1,200 per week
